Candidates with experience working in a reseller environment and a college degree in an appropriate computer/network or sales field are given preference. TSL provides incentives for successful training and certifications obtained by technical employees. All employees are required to participate in a professional growth program.  TSL and/or its vendors provide training for new core and advanced skills in networking appropriate for the position. 

A minimum of two interviews are required of all candidates.  Skill assessments* are required for all technical positions. Network Bench Technician/Managed Services Technician/Network Technician   

Job Description
Network Bench Technician/MST is responsible for the assembly, configuration, installation, and repair of computers and servers, printers, monitors and their connections to a Linux, Novell NetWare or Windows 2003 network for customers.  The NBT also provides first line help desk support for core OS and business applications as part of the daily managed services platform we host.  

Requirements
Minimum 2 Year College Degree in Software Applications, Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Electronics. The ideal candidate for this position will be A+ and N+ certified and have earned factory certifications from Compaq, HP, IBM or major computer manufacturers. Cabling experience a plus.

Network Systems Specialist   

Network Systems Engineer

Job Description
Network Systems Specialist (or advanced level Network Systems Engineer) is responsible for providing on-site, bench or telephone technical services to the corporate network running Linux, Windows 2000/2003 and/or NetWare.  The NSS also provides LAN Admin services, including NOS installation and configuration on a variety of server platforms, for contracted customers.  The NSE is also responsible for configuration of email systems (Exchange Server or SendMail), SQL servers, security and storage systems (NAS or SAN).

Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have completed his CNA, CNE, MCSE or MCP training and obtained certification. Knowledge of Novell Netware 6.5 and Microsoft Networking required especially with Windows 2000 and Windows W2K/XP clients. Experience with network printing and backup issues preferred. Skills in deployment managers, network software installation,  remote management and troubleshooting required. Server assembly and troubleshooting skills required (preferrably of Compaq, HP, and/or IBM).

Technical Services Coordinator   

Job Description
The Technical Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all the activities of the Technical Services group, T-CARE dispatch, service tickets, parts, and warranty administration. 

Requirements
One year experience in bench or warranty repair. The ideal candidate for this position will be A+ and N+ certified and at least one factory certifications from Compaq, HP, IBM or major computer manufacturers. Team leader experience desired. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Internet Services Specialist   

Job Description
The Internet Services Specialist is responsible for providing on-site or telephone technical services to clients running internet or IP services on a Linux, Windows 2003 and/or NetWare multi-server network.  The NSS also provides design, planning and consulting services for Internet Systems, including web-based application services, lease line, broadband, wireless, CTI, VOIP, web publishing and email, for corporate and government clients.  The IIS configures basic router and firewall services with IP rule schemes.  The IIS also supports vertical solutions in wireless CDPD/GMS and multi-branch VOIP.

Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will have completed his CNE, MCSE or CCNP training and obtained certification with emphasis on the internet.  Knowledge of  internet systems interfacing with Citrix, Windows 2000/2003 and Windows XP clients required. Experience with IP addressing schemes preferred. Skills in internet systems appliance installation and troubleshooting required. Knowledge of CISCO router configuration and firewalls.

Sales & Marketing Assistant   

Job Description
The SMA provides inside sales and marketing support for the sales team. Responsibilities include e-newsletter, direct email marketing, customer relations, advertising coordination, marketing events, literature management and response, competitive research, bid preparation, promotion and retail presentations. 

Requirements
A minimum two-year degree in marketing, advertising, sales management or business administration. Retail or corporate sales experience preferred.  Requires proficiency in MS Office Professional (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Publisher, and FrontPage.  Alternatively, this position may be available as an internship in cooperation with a Chicago area college.

Currently this is an intern/coop position for a college or graduate student.

Sales Representative (Account Exec)    

Job Description
The Sales Rep develops new and maintains existing accounts in the Chicago area.  This Account Executive sells computer and internet solutions, IP telephony (VOIP), ruggedized mobile systems, network system solutions and services.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, prospecting, customer orders, project coordination, ecommerce sales support and response, customer satisfaction, marketing and corporate presentations.  Travel within the metro Chicago area expected.

Requirements
A minimum two-year degree in marketing, advertising, sales management or business administration. Retail or corporate telecommunications (CTI telephony), computer, internet or networking sales experience preferred.  MS Office automation skills a must.

Inventory Control Technician   

Job Description
The ICT or SRA (Shipping & Receiving Assistant) is responsible for receiving and shipping goods, order shipment status, reverse logistics, customer notifications and inventory control. Local pickup and delivery of goods also required. The ICT is also responsible for routine daily maintenance of the store and vehicles.  The ICT also supports sales of clearance goods on eBay or CraigsList.

Requirements
Experience with UPS and/or FEDEX shipping and receiving preferred. Office automation computer skills (especially with data entry, databases, barcodes, scanners) required. Must be able to effectively use on-line web delivery and order status services. Driver's license required and 18 years old. Must be able to lift and move at least 70 + lbs boxes.  Candidates with technology skills are preferred. 

Special Note
Part time position -- 5 Hours Per Day.  Available Immediately.
